Construction Site Manager (Single Family and Multi-family)

Competition Number: LGB-24-10

You will manage the construction process from pre-construction to post-construction ensuring housing units are constructed on time and on budget. With an understanding of residential construction procedures as well as the company product you will ensure construction meets all specifications and quality requirements. You will organize, lead and guide the activities of Trades.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager, or equivalent
• Knowledge of residential building Codes
• Intermediate computer skills
• Highly developed communication skills
• The ability to work within time constraints
• Holding, or working towards a Construction Site Manager accreditation is considered an asset.

Seasonal Coordinator (Single-family and Multi-family)

FULL TIME, PERMANENT POSITION

With a genuine interest in providing an exceptional product and customer service experience for our clients, you will ensure all seasonal work is scheduled and completed in a timely manner. You will prepare work/purchase orders, schedule trades, ensure quality control, maintain databases, and provide clients with information. You will also coordinate the seasonal activities of Trade contractors, site labour, and lot grading as required.

Requirements:
• Class 5 Driver’s License in good standing
• Working towards Site Manager accreditation through the Professional Homebuilders Institute
• Building on Alberta Soils Course would be an asset
• Time Management, scheduling and multi-tasking abilities
• Intermediate computer skills with a working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel.

As a member of the Estimating Department, you will be accountable for preparing and maintaining accurate job costs of new homes before and during construction, in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
• 3 – 5 years experience as an Estimator
• Construction Engineering Technology Diploma preferred
• Experience with MS Office and Outlook is essential.
• Experience in residential construction (single and/or multi-family) projects would be a definite asset
• Ability to create and maintain housing budgets and costing options
• Ability to read blueprints
• Knowledge of new home construction and ability to visualize specific requirements
